INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
The purchase of your Stand-By Generator will require some installation addons. You will have to make a concrete pad for the generator to sit on. The pad will prevent the Generator from sinking as well as keep it above ground. We also recommend a shed or another structure to put around the Generator to protect it further from the weather.

FUEL AND OIL REQUIREMENTS
A Diamond Northern Generator will require you to always keep on hand some standard Diesel fuel along with 10W30 oil from any major manufacturer.

FUEL CAPACITY
Our 12KW Generator can hold up to 4.5 Gallons at one time. You also have the option of hooking up a Large Tank Connection for even greater fuel capacity.

FUEL RESERVE
To determine how much fuel to keep on hand you will have to calculate the type of load you will most likely see and how long you expect to be without standard power. The Generator with a 50% load will consume 1/2 Gallon of Fuel per hour. The standard 4.5 Gallon Tank will last you for approximately 9 hours. We recommend keeping another 5 gallons on hand and in severe weather perhaps even more.

PARTS AND ACCESSORIES ON HAND
We at Diamond Northern recommend keeping several maintenance items on hand to keep your Generator running perfect. We would recommend purchasing additional Oil Filters, Fuel Filters and Air Filters. The Oil and Fuel Filters should be replaced every 250 hours and the Air Filter replaced as needed.

WEATHER PROOFING
We recommend when you install your Generator to enclose it in a shed or another wrap around type structure. This will prevent any major wind or debris from possibly preventing your Generator from operating without interruption due to damage.

A Diamond Northern Generator operates at a comfortable sound level of 80 decibals.

GENERATOR DELIVERY
Delivery time of your new Stand-By Generator is 5-7 Business days. This excludes weekends and holidays when figuring arrival times. Residential delivery is available for an additional fee.

LENGTH OF WARRANTY
A Stand-By Generator from Diamond Northern comes with a 6 month Factory Warranty. This Warranty will cover your Generator for unlimited hours throughout the first 6 months of ownership.
